Verbena - Vanessa™ Compact Neon Pink

Verbena 'Vanessa' is a heat-tolerant, long-blooming perennial or annual (depending on the zone) known for its vivid, vibrant flowers that bloom from spring until frost. The flowers come in various colors, including purple, pink, red, and white, and are highly attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. This verbena variety is bred for superior disease resistance and extended flowering periods.

Grow Zone:

• Perennial in USDA Zones 8–11
• Annual in cooler zones (below Zone 8)

Height and Width:

• Height: 8–12 inches
• Spread: 18–24 inches

Uses:

• Ground cover in flower beds or borders

Native Range:
Derived from hybrid cultivars; parent species are native to North and South America.

Growing Conditions:

• Light: Full sun (6+ hours of direct sunlight daily).
• Soil: Well-draining soil; tolerates average to sandy soil.
• Water: Moderate watering; drought-tolerant once established. Avoid overwatering.
• Temperature: Thrives in warm weather; protect from frost in cooler climates.
• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring and mid-season to encourage continuous blooms.
