Plant Description:
Verbena ‘Vanessa Deep Pink’ is a vigorous, trailing perennial (grown as an annual in cooler climates) known for its bright deep pink flower clusters that bloom continuously from spring through frost. It has a dense, branching growth habit with fine-textured green foliage, offering long-lasting color and resilience against heat and mildew.

Grow Zone:
Perennial in USDA Zones 8–10. Grown as an annual in colder zones.

Height and Width:
Typically grows 6–10 inches tall and spreads 18–24 inches wide, forming a lush, cascading mat.

Uses:
Ideal for garden beds, borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. Performs exceptionally in containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets, where its trailing habit can spill over the edges. Its flowers attract butterflies and provide vibrant color throughout the growing season.

Native Range:
Developed from hybrid garden verbenas, with parent species native to South America, particularly Brazil and Argentina.

Sun and Water Requirements:
Requires full sun, with six or more hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal blooms. Prefers well-drained soil and moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Drought-tolerant once established but benefits from consistent moisture and occasional feeding during the growing season for continuous flowering.
