This tasty blend gives a therapeutic twist to the traditional Chai herbs, without being blended with green or black teas. The primary active ingredient in Turmeric is curcumin, a potent antioxidant to help promote optimum health and well-being and support your body's natural defenses. Native Americans originally used the passiflora plant's medicinal properties. The root was used as a poultice to treat boils, cuts, bruises, and other inflammations. The leaves were boiled to make tea to calm nerves or as a tonic.
