Setcreasea pallida, commonly known as Purple Queen or Purple Heart, is a fast-growing, trailing perennial prized for its vibrant purple foliage and small, pink, three-petaled flowers that appear throughout the warm season. It has a spreading, cascading habit, making it an excellent ground cover or container plant. This plant is drought-tolerant, heat-resistant, and low-maintenance, making it ideal for tough landscapes.

Native to Mexico, specifically northeastern regions, where it thrives in warm, dry conditions.
