Plant Description:
Salvia ‘Vista White’ is a compact, uniform annual salvia variety known for its dense spikes of pure white flowers held above deep green foliage. The plant produces an abundance of blooms over a long season, offering a bright, clean contrast in garden beds and containers. It has a neat, upright growth habit and performs well in both landscape and container plantings, making it a favorite for mass displays and borders.

Grow Zone:
Best grown in USDA Zones 8–10 as a warm-season annual. In Zone 9, it thrives from spring through fall, flowering continuously in sunny conditions.

Height and Width:
Typically grows 10 to 14 inches tall and 8 to 10 inches wide.

Uses:
Excellent for garden borders, edging, bedding, and mixed containers. Its pure white blooms complement colorful annuals and perennials, providing contrast in floral designs. It’s also suitable for pollinator gardens, as it attracts bees and butterflies.

Native Range:
Derived from Salvia splendens, a species native to Brazil, where it grows in warm, tropical to subtropical climates.

Sun and Water Requirements:
Prefers full sun for best flowering but can tolerate light afternoon shade in hotter climates. Requires well-draining soil and consistent moisture, especially during dry periods. Avoid overwatering, and remove spent flower spikes to promote new blooms and maintain a tidy appearance.
