Lemon grass is a tall, clumping, tropical grass with slender, arching green leaves and a distinct citrus fragrance. The leaves are long, narrow, and can feel slightly rough to the touch. It grows in dense clumps and, in tropical climates, may produce small, feathery flower heads.
