MidSouth grapes are a hybrid variety developed for the southeastern United States, known for their adaptability to warm, humid climates. They produce medium to large clusters of dark purple to black grapes with a sweet, rich flavor. This variety is prized for its disease resistance, especially against common grapevine diseases like Pierce’s disease.

Native Range:

Growing Conditions:
- Light: Full sun (6-8 hours daily) for optimal fruit production
- Soil: Well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral (pH 5.5-7.0); tolerates sandy and loamy soils
- Water: Regular watering during establishment and fruiting; drought-tolerant once mature
