Fuchsia ‘Giant Bicentennial’ is a show-stopping variety known for its large, double blooms featuring vivid coral-pink sepals and rich lavender-blue petals. These eye-catching flowers hang gracefully from arching stems, blooming continuously from spring through fall. The foliage is deep green and slightly serrated, offering a lush contrast to the vibrant flowers. This cultivar has an upright, bushy growth habit that lends itself well to containers and garden borders.

Grow Zone:
USDA Zones 9–11. In cooler regions, it can be grown as an annual or brought indoors for overwintering.

Height and Width:
Grows to about 18–24 inches in height and spreads 12–18 inches wide.

Uses:
Suitable for container gardening, mixed borders, and as a focal point in patio pots. It can also be used in hanging baskets, though its more upright form is best appreciated in upright displays or elevated planters.

Native Range:
While this cultivar is a hybrid, the Fuchsia genus originates from Central and South America.

Sun Requirements:
Prefers partial shade to dappled light. It thrives with morning sun and protection from the harsh afternoon sun, especially in warm climates.

Water Requirements:
Needs evenly moist, well-drained soil. Regular watering is essential, particularly during hot weather, but avoid waterlogging the roots. Consistent moisture supports vigorous flowering and healthy foliage.
