Daisy May Queen (Leucanthemum vulgare ‘May Queen’)

Plant Description:
May Queen is a hardy, clump-forming perennial daisy known for its classic white petals surrounding bright yellow centers. It produces abundant blooms in late spring to early summer, often earlier than many other shasta-type daisies. The foliage consists of deep green, slightly toothed leaves, forming a tidy mound at the base. It has an informal, meadow-like charm and attracts pollinators.

Typically grows 18–30 inches tall and 12–24 inches wide.

Uses:
Suitable for cottage gardens, perennial beds, meadow plantings, and cut flower gardens. It is excellent for naturalizing in open sunny areas and works well in pollinator-friendly designs. Its long, sturdy stems make it useful for fresh floral arrangements.

Native Range:
Derived from the oxeye daisy native to Europe and western Asia.
