Begonia 'BabyWing BiColor' Growing Guide

Plant Description:
Begonia 'BabyWing BiColor' is a hybrid begonia prized for its elegant, angel wing-shaped foliage and profuse bicolor blooms in shades of pink and white. This compact, heat-tolerant plant has a mounded, well-branched growth habit and blooms continuously from spring through fall, making it ideal for seasonal color.

USDA Grow Zone:
Perennial in zones 10–11; typically grown as an annual in cooler climates.

Height and Width:
Grows 10 to 14 inches tall and spreads 10 to 12 inches wide.

Uses:
Excellent for containers, hanging baskets, borders, and mass plantings. Performs well in both residential landscapes and public plantings due to its uniform habit and long bloom time.

Native Range:
Hybrid cultivar; not found in the wild. Parent species originate from tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America.

Sun Requirements:
Prefers part sun to part shade. Can tolerate full sun in cooler regions but needs afternoon shade in hotter climates to prevent leaf scorch.

Water Requirements:
Moderate water needs. Keep soil consistently moist but well-drained. Avoid waterlogged conditions to prevent root rot. Allow the surface of the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
